Use case

Connect a 100G AI lab in one rack unit

Link GPU servers, workstations and NVMe storage over 100G to move datasets and checkpoints quickly between nodes. RouterOS v7 with licence level 5 provides switching and routing in a single 1U unit, keeping a small AI lab simple to run.

Integration

Marvell switching with ARM control plane

Ports comprise 16x 100G QSFP28, 4x 25G SFP28, 2x 10G Ethernet and an RJ45 serial console. A Marvell 98CX8410 switch chip is paired with a quad-core 2 GHz ARM CPU and 4 GB DDR4 RAM. Power draw is 150 W max (220 W with both PSUs) in a 1U rack-mount chassis.
