  • Connectivity 800G OSFP to 4x 200G OSFP
  • Details 1 m passive copper

NVIDIA MCP7Y50-N001 is a genuine 1 m passive copper splitter that breaks one twin-port NDR OSFP cage into four 200G NDR200 OSFP links. It lets a single Quantum-2 switch cage connect four servers, well suited to dense InfiniBand clusters.

What's inside.

The specs that decide what you can run, straight from the manufacturer's data sheet.

  • 01800G to 4x 200G NDR200One twin-port OSFP cage is split into four 200G links for maximum server density.
  • 02Four servers per cageConnect four ConnectX-7 hosts to one switch cage, reducing switch count in smaller fabrics.
  • 03LSZH jacketLow-smoke zero-halogen jacket for data centres with strict cabling fire-safety rules.
  • 041 m passive copperThe shortest run, for servers placed directly beside the switch.

In practice

Built for the work.

NVIDIA MCP7Y50-N001 – NDR 800G OSFP to 4x 200G OSFP Splitter DAC, 1 m

Use case

Four NDR200 servers from one switch cage

Scale an InfiniBand cluster to more nodes per switch by running four 200G servers from each Quantum-2 cage, ideal where hosts need NDR200 rather than full 400G. At 1 m it suits servers placed directly beside the switch.

Integration

Quantum-2 QM9700 to 4x ConnectX-7

The twin-port OSFP end fits the NVIDIA Quantum-2 QM9700; the four OSFP ends connect to ConnectX-7 OSFP adapters running NDR200. InfiniBand NDR200, 800 Gbit/s total, 1 m, LSZH. Part 980-9I75E-00N001.
